Background Planning applications were proposed to Cambridge Council to build a new housing development with 2,300 new dwellings. The aim was to develop spaces that the existing community and potentially the new residents would use having a sense of pride and ownership whilst feeling like one development. The proposed plans for the new development were approved early this year. Solution To use sustainable and durable products that would coordinate safe and welcoming walkways throughout the development and create spaces with challenging yet inspirational play environments for all ages to enjoy. The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre was built as the premier venue for staging large international conventions and exhibitions previously beyond the country's scope. The distinctive bird-like design of the roof demands specific requirements especially in terms of acoustic performance, ease of maintenance and durability.
