Privacy, minimalism, and the demand for low maintenance were the driving forces behind the creation of a residence designed for gatherings of friends and family in a condominium in the town of Porto Feliz, in the countryside of São Paulo. To bring these characteristics to life, Matheus Farah e Manoel Maia Arquitetura designed a large garden at the rear of the 3,182 sqm lot, toward which all other areas are oriented, serving as the heart of the project. On the upper floor, elongated metal planters encircle the entire external area, softening the transition between materials and creating a dialogue with the garden. Located in one of the most valued regions of São Paulo's capital, Rebouças Avenue, the single-tower development has 22 corporate floors with nearly 6 meters of double-height. The Oblique Pavilion is an ephemeral space, configured in a 12x9 area, located between three access streets at an event fair. Previously, the floor plans of residential apartments were highly compartmentalized, with various separate rooms divided by walls, a room for staff, numerous bathrooms, among other distinctive features. However, increasingly, the newer generations seek more open and connected spaces with fewer obstacles and a lively atmosphere. On the ground floor of a 3-story building dating back to 1950, you will find Trifolium Flower Shop, a contemporary-style flower shop that opens directly onto the street, extending itself invitingly and closely to the sidewalk. The starting point of the project of this residence, in São Paulo, was the cobogó inserted in its facade and designed by Arthur Casas.
