Fernando Jaeger

Fernando graduated in industrial design from UFRJ in 1980. Since his first works, he has always been interested in the use of wood and the art of people who spend hours debugging the details of a piece. The interest and curiosity for new techniques and materials led him to discover other possibilities that design offers. The result is an authorial design, thought about the daily life of people and the hands and machines that will work different materials. A product that, not infrequently, carries an expressive handcrafted characteristic even in the most industrial processes. More than 25 years later, the essence of his work remains the same, expressed not only in strokes, drawings, and projects, but also in the way they are produced and executed.
