With the CLICrocker Glass, PeLi shows the power of what he calls ‘digital craftsmanship’. The connection of bamboo and extra clear glass became only possible by working together with expert craftsmen who were not afraid of pushing the limits of their trade. Craft and digital manufacturing go hand in hand. The sitting plank and the backrest are produced from a caramel colored (heat treated for extra durability) bamboo plate material of the best quality. Only the cooperation with a water jet cutter made the production possible. the glass has been produced on a diamond CNC mill by VanDijken Glass BV in Holland.
