CLOUD SOFA

Inspired in the comfort of what we imagine must be sitting on a cloud, Pascali Semerdjian Architects created a sofa concept with a cozy nest of pillows. The foam units are sewn together creating a soft and comfortable surface. Each pillow segment is formed manually, piece by piece, creating a handmade time-intensive piece of design. The structure can be made from different types of Brazilian wood, bringing the modern sofisticated touch to it. arranged in such a manner that results in a very comfortable and sophisticated piece. Cloud Sofa was the first design piece to be launched in partnership with Brazilian high-end luxury furniture brand Etel. It is part of Etel's IBA collection today, composed also of the Cloud Armchair, that is made out of the same structuring and inspiration as the sofa.
