Dechirer

With PATRICIA URQUIOLA and her Déchirer project, MUTINA has faced the challenge of expressing through the material the effect of the signs stratification, the lightness of decor, and the traces of the past, playing with surfaces which become different as light changes. The appreciation of architects and interior designers, the acknowledgment of the international press and last but not least the huge acclaim gained on the market have encouraged the company to complete and further decline the collection. DECHIRER (la Suite) is then born, implementing and further declining the project Déchirer with two new textures: Trace and Net. An enrichment composed by patterns full of personality which express themselves through big sizes, natural colours, combinations and contrasts, obtained thanks to the Continua technology at double pugging. Original and innovative, BITTEN is a finishing proposal for the tile edges which, being worn and irregular, turn the leak into a decorative element, part of the overall design. BITTEN, covered by a Mutina patent, is available on Déchirer Neutral 60x60 and 60x120, Déchirer (la Suite) Trace 60x60, 30x60 and on the mosaic 6x10.
