CMC Tiles is an enterprise that always focuses on technology investment in the product design process of tiles and tiles. In the language of design, we want to adopt a space that expresses the spirit that our clients are aiming for – a space with a "futuristic vibe"
LAYOUT
The project consists of 02 main areas:
Showroom space is designed according to the predetermined customer consulting process of the business.
- Each product line is arranged, and divided clearly, along the wall areas. Interwoven with that are interactive points such as the reception desk, consulting area, and reception area.
- The central space is widely arranged for visiting and experiencing customers' products.
Office area: located on the second floor, separate from the display area, this layout helps to ensure privacy for employees during working time. The office includes the following functional areas:
- Working space for employees: Occupying most of the area is a co-working space, arranged next to large window areas and open design, relatively divided partitions, and convenient colors for interaction.
- Board of directors' offices, meeting rooms, OKRs
- Additional function areas: corner game, pantry, lounge... - Corridor: located in the middle, connecting the workspace with other functional areas of the office. Use slight curves to shape the hallway to create softness and navigation for the space.
DETAIL
The "futuristic" element is visualized through the use of slightly curved lines corresponding between the ceiling and floor lighting systems that both create a highlight and guide customers when visiting the showroom.
With the display space, the product is the main subject of the space, so the color needs to be tempered to highlight the product. We use 03 basic, neutral colors: black - white - grey for clean space. Especially black with brick veins reminiscent of the space of the universe, showing the "futuristic vibe" of the design.
In this project we focused on lighting design, applying layering methods to form many light layers. Takes advantage of the glossy effect from the display product (ceramic tiles) to create a harmonious reflection of light for the space.
