Located in the city of Porto, this house is built with walls, gates and blind facades to maintain the alignment of the street and preserve the privacy of its users. On the opposite side, the openings frame the garden and a large window frames a centenary camphor tree and cedar.
All the social spaces are organized on the ground floor, while on the upper floors, a mezzanine office, bedrooms, duplex rooms and bathrooms open onto large private terraces with vegetation. The technical spaces are grouped in the basement.
The project relies on the rigor of a flawless execution, to obtain the expressive quality of a concrete that awakens the touch and that keeps in the formwork assembly the memory of a committed manual execution.
