La Fiaiola

La Fiaiola, a luxury and sustainable hospitality complex in the heart of Umbria

Loto AD Project 建築家 として

In this region, in the Narnese valley, Loto Ad Project has realized a touristic project perfectly integrated with the surrounding environment, a flourishing nature that will allocate about 80 hectares to olive groves and truffle grounds. The oil mill, annexed to the accommodation facility, is the focal point. The spiral shape and the various parts that open radially are a tribute to the ancient olive mill.

The building will have spaces for OLIVE oil and truffle tasting. On the other side of the driveway, the accommodation area will rise with its central soul, a tower for hospitality use which will become a landmark in the landscape.

The farmhouse will develop around it, finding the connection with the elements of the territory, such as the Umbrian stone and tile. The building will consist of two distinct bodies - living and sleeping area - but connected to each other by a central part where guests will find a large reception table. From the building that unrolls under the Umbrian sky, the views open up to two different perspectives: one on the valley and the other on the land.

The pedestrian path will connect all the elements of the complex, ultimately underlining the three-dimensionality of the lot. On some of the terraces native tree species will be planted, while on others, areas will be designed to relax in the shade of an oak tree and enjoy the landscape. The luxury hospitality that will be named La Fiaiola includes a natural swimming pool, an eco-sustainable bathing bio-lake, an open-air cinema and 10 suites, and will be dedicated to a demanding public that enjoy relaxed luxury, fine and authentic cuisine, and nature.
