Interior Design & Styling
This project emerges from a meticulous reimagining of the apartment’s layout, tailored to the sophisticated tastes and exacting standards of our clients, both of whom hail from the fashion industry.
The primary design goals were to create an expansive, convivial kitchen space and to transform the bathroom into a spa-like retreat. The kitchen area delineates the entryway, which subsequently opens into the living area. This living space is bathed in natural light from the French doors that lead to a spacious terrace, also accessible from the bedroom.
The kitchen, adorned in dark hues, presents a striking contrast to the soft, inviting ambiance of the rest of the apartment. It features a peninsula that serves as a snack bar and a wall of full-height cabinetry, the end of which is tastefully accented with shelving. Another standout element in the living area is the wall clad in TRG plaster panels that mimic a curtain, meeting an external sliding door of iron and glass, which leads to the bathroom area.
Project Details
Upon crossing this threshold, one is greeted by a large iron and glass partition that separates the initial area with sinks and sanitary fixtures from the section dedicated to a freestanding bathtub and a spacious, flush-to-floor shower.
This division is further emphasized by the use of different finishes: the first section continues the Italian herringbone parquet found throughout the apartment, while the second section is entirely clad in Ceppo di Gré effect porcelain stoneware, creating a boxed-in feel.
Finally, a concealed door in the living area wall leads to the bedroom. This intimate, enveloping space is rendered particularly soothing by the selected shade of blue for the walls. It is a compact yet profoundly relaxing environment, capable of accommodating all essentials without feeling cold.
