In one of the most fascinating corners of the French Riviera, the French architecture studio Vialla Poliquen architects has designed a modern villa that transcends the concept of a simple residence: it is a tribute to the harmonious integration between contemporary design and the timeless beauty of stone. The streamlined lines of modern architecture are enhanced by Geopietra® manufactured stone, which creates a fascinating contrast and evokes tradition and authenticity.
The building adapts to the slope of the hill on which it stands and has several floors highlighted by the retaining walls clad with a custom model from Geopietra® collection, which also characterises the garden terraces, pillars and some façade walls. Thanks to a horizontal installation, the wall texture is extremely solid and homogeneous, with a perfect interplay of stones of different sizes and shapes.
To complete the finishing of the walls, GeoCover wall caps were used in the Spacco model – slabs in manufactured stone, reinforced with fibreglass, which are named after the typical process used to sculpt edges. The warm shades of brown chosen for the wall caps integrate perfectly with the context that envelops the villa.
