The Xi apartment serves as a second home for a couple residing in Sydney, Australia. The couple dreamed of a space that could provide comfort and hoped that when they entered their home, their thoughts would become simple. Increasing stays in Korea led them to purchase this home, and through meetings via DesignShare and video apps, they completed a three-month renovation. The presented project is a southwest facing apartment in the wide center of Sofia. In the plan, at the macro level, we create a very definite division between the living room, the bedroom and the children's tract. Each of them has its own bathroom, which is very different in function and, accordingly, in design. This interior is designed based on a gallery concept, giving the spaces a minimalist yet refined character. In the main areas – the hallway, kitchen, and living room – light grey tones dominate, subtly paired with various wall and floor textures. A key feature is the semicircular, light blue natural stone bar, complemented by artworks from various artists that will further enrich this space in the future. Narrow streets lined up with clusters of mid-rise towers, made of rammed earth and burnt bricks, decorated with geometrical patterns created out of white gypsum, form the city of Sana’a. Being the capital of Yemen, Sana’a is an important economical, commercial, and religious focal point of the country. The current population of Sana’a is around 34 lakhs, with a growth rate of about 3% expected every year till 2030. Located in a historic building in the Old Town of Bilbao, this project proposes the renovation of a home in which the image of the past and the present coexist, placing emphasis on the choice of natural materials and attention to detail of integrated furniture. The apartment is located in Jumeirah, within a stylish residential complex called The Court. Designed for a young woman who owns an event-agency in Dubai, the apartment needed to provide a comfortable environment for relaxation as well as a stylish and cosy space for entertaining guests. Urban Role  The intervention is places inside a courtyard building dating back to the late nineteenth/early twentieth century along the built border demarcating the urban center of the city of Monza. Historically, the area was occupied by the city walls and one of the access gates to the city: Porta San Biagio.Following its demolition in 1845, the walls and moat left room for residential blocks that, following its path, inhabit its thickness. Therefore, at an urban level, the building that hosts the intervention takes on the role once played by the Gate: mediation between an internal and an external dimension and, above all, physical identification of the passage between the two. House#05 is an interior project for the restructuring of an apartment inside a building from the 1930s in Milan. The double room 70 sq.m. apartment is situated on the principal floor of the building and from the large window of the living room captures entirely in a symmetrical fashion and which ultimately acts as witness to the environment in which it is located.
