This apartment is located in Polanco, in Mexico City, just across from a park so the views are mostly of fantastic tree tops. The apartment has one level with wide spaces that allowed making a proper distribution of the areas resulting in a casual, very warmth and open ambience.The remodeling project of this space considered a master bedroom for one person and a guest room; it also includes a library with enough privacy that, when necessary, may also be an additional guest room. Because of its location the entrance hall lacks of natural light; this situation was solved with a plafond where lamps were installed and the walls were painted in an intense red color that unifies the walls and doors generating an ample single space. The project was implemented by architect Irina Mayetnaya and Mikhail Golub. The 1,000 square feet apartment is located in Kiev, Ukraine. With the transformation of an old harbor-cantina on KNSM island in Amsterdam into large apartments, this building changed its function but kept its identity. The house we created is composed from 4 smalles 'houses', containing the more private spaces and supporting facilities. In between them, an open multifunctional space emerges (the streets) and a natural daylight enters deep into the house. The elevated second level is used for cooking, dining, working and has a guest house, connected by walking bridges. These 'roof terraces' are placed in such way that you can fully enjoy the view of the adjacent harbour. The walls consist of closets and cupboards which double function as a wooden support structure. Situated in the Rowdah District of Jeddah Saudi Arabia, this 6 storey apartment building consists of eight, two bedroom luxury apartments, 4 smaller two bedroom apartments and two luxury penthouses with 3 bedrooms. The total building accommodates 14 apartments. To meet the cultural needs of the future tenants, each apartment has folding screens which allow for living spaces to be divided for private socialising, multiple bathrooms and maids rooms. For an apartment in Rotterdam WHIM designed a new interior. The design results in a more open floor plan and a higher efficiency in the use of the available volume. One of the new elements is a multifunctional closet, that has the same finishing as the floor. The work was completed at the end of January 2012. The intervention in the Palma Apartment's main premise was the total restructuring of the existing space to create a new proposal for a more real, more fluid and, above all, more livable space for our clients. The apartment was based on a common typology of the 80s, where the spatial arrangement was based on partitioning the space. The original entrance opened into an entrance hall, this hall was followed by separate distribution areas, for social, intimate and service. From this central distribution space, the various domestic activities were divided separately.
