The playground originally consisted of a big concrete floor with no shading and no games. The design weaves itself around the two existing trees on the site into an infinity-shaped structure. Within the structure, we articulated a series of games, which, combined, creates an infinitely long obstacle course. The games go in the following order: bamboo jungle; fishing net; monkey bars; swings; Myanmar-style hopscotch and repeat itself. The entire structure is made from bamboo, three different species were used, Dendrocalamus giganteus for the frames, bundles of Oxytenanthera albocialiata Munro for the curved elements, and Thyrsostachys siamensis for the bracing and roof beams. The school asked us to design and build a bamboo canopy which would bring shading to the bleachers along the sports field and create a space in the back which would welcome events in the evening, proper lighting was therefore considered. The design was based on several key factors from the site. This structure is multifunctional, it serves both as a shading device for the elementary school playground and creates a cultural event space. The parameters which guided the design came from both the site and the client. The school wanted the structure to create as much shade without stepping into the actual courtyard. All footings had to be placed outside onto the grass. Uncloud Coffee sits strategically on Khao Lam Road in Chonburi Province, occupying a sharply triangular site adjacent to the main thoroughfare leading from Bang Saen, with majestic mountain views forming a stunning backdrop. The architectural plan masterfully exploits the site's triangular shape, extending the building along the roadside in three core zones: a welcoming main entrance that combines a bar and seating area, an outdoor lounge encapsulated within a verdant courtyard, and a tranquil internal area for seating and client workspaces. The project entails the renovation of an office space located at one of the main buildings of a group of companies in Athens. The guiding principle was to create a timber interior that innovatively juxtaposes organic forms and clean lines. Illyrius was born by the request for a high-density residential project just outside the first urban circle, on an empty lot on the Rruga Dritan Hoxha artery, which connects the city center to Tirana International Airport, and to the coast of the Adriatic Sea. Caption To the ambitious brief, GG-loop responds using the parametric tool “Mitosis” launched in November 2020. The craft-drinking bar Trisoux is located in the center of Glockenbach, a young vibran neighborhood in the heart of Munich. The 160m² bar occupies two levels of a residential building from 1890. On the ground floor is the central bar counter and lounge; in the basement, additional space to extend the bar and host small events. However, the space contains disjointed rooms and obstructed spaces. Therefore the ceiling was chosen as main design area to create an exceptional bar-going experience. CONCEPT DARWIN Live light, live smart! We are temporary visitors to this planet. It is important that we don’t leave any footprints that impact future generations. Therefore, we must cohabit with nature and not inhabit it. Permanently impermanent buildings are the future. Darwin is designed as a prefabricated kit of parts that can be dry assembled on site (and disassembled when required). It is made from legacy materials like steel, wood, aluminium and glass. The durability and cost of a Darwin is comparable to that of  a conventional building. It does not require a plinth to build on, heavy equipment to transport or cranes to erect. BRIEF The Brick Lantern House is part of a gated community set on the outskirts of Bengaluru, on an odd -shaped corner plot which is of 2000 SFT site area. It’s a north facing plot bounded by two quiet roads on the north and east side, with panoramic views of the lush landscape and hills around the site. The Airport Express line and the Yellow line of the Delhi Metro also have a subterranean underground station at the Ajmeri Gate side in-between the railway station and the Parking building .
