Cushman & Wakefield develops 6 feet office concept to help offices adjust to the post-pandemic era

Commercial real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield begins to visualize a life after COVID-19. Across the globe, the pandemic is in different stages. The 6 Feet Office suggests a way to adjust to the new normal.

Cushman & Wakefield expect the ‘6 feet rule’ will not go away any time soon. Eventually we will all return to work and they see it as critical to normalize this into a set of guidelines.

Their concept consists of six steps to help companies prepare for a smooth transition. First they suggest an analysis of the current work environment and opportunities for improvements.

After this, a set of rules can help employees conduct in a way that puts everyone’s safety first. A routing and 6 feet workstation can help enhance this visually.

As a final measurement Cushman & Wakefield advise offices to assign an employee as a 6 feet officer that watches over the right implementation and they propose a certificate that states that the right measures have been taken.
