As the overall Building Product of the Year, the public has selected PARTHOS, a meeting table by Lithuania-based NARBUTAS, as the Archello Awards 2023 winner. For each of the 17 categories in the awards program, one product was awarded by jury vote, and one product by public vote.
The PARTHOS collection consists of a series of meeting tables, high tables and coffee tables with thin rounded work surfaces set on wide circular 'column' bases. The PARTHOS meeting table is one of NARBUTAS’ most sustainable products, developed with PET felt which uses over 50 percent recycled raw materials and is itself fully recyclable. “Sustainability is one of NARBUTAS’ key strategic goals. The Public Vote award for the Archello Awards 2023 is an important confirmation for us that we are on the right track,” says a representative of NARBUTAS.
Two types of tabletops are available for the PARTHOS meeting tables: melamine with ABS edging in white, black or gray; and HPL with sloping painted edges. Metal table grommets and power units can be added to the tables. The column structure consists of a welded frame of powder-coated metal tubes covered by melamine and an outer PET fiber board surface with a vertical pattern that serves to improve room acoustics. Concrete counterweights support the table at its base.
“This is the first year we have collaborated with Archello," says Dovydas Balaišis, Head of Product Development at Narbutas International. "We are delighted that our product has been noticed and recognized by this global platform for designers and architects and has received its award. We especially value the prize we won, that of the public vote.”
