The restaurant features a stylish dining room, comfortable lounge seating, and indoor/outdoor patio surrounded by bamboo plants and modern lanterns. A fourteen-seat bar, 2 elegant private dining rooms, and an open kitchen omakase bar seating for 10.

Design Concept
BondST presents a contemporary reimagining of the Japanese dining experience, thoughtfully curated with traditional Japanese materials. Drawing inspiration from Japanese and modern Asian influences, the design captures a light, contemporary essence, while preserving an inviting warmth and charm. With panoramic vistas of the Hudson River and Heatherwick’s Vessel, the restaurant seamlessly integrates its surroundings, offering patrons an immersive dining experience. The ambiance is meticulously tailored to foster a harmonious blend of sophisticated elegance and social connectivity, making BondST a destination for both discerning diners and social gatherings alike.
Collaborating with Jonathan Morr of BondST, our mission was to encapsulate the quintessential essence of the BondST experience while introducing a fresh and innovative aesthetic to propel the brand forward into its next evolution.
Subtle nods to Japanese style and materiality are balanced with a whimsical use of custom JBI designed decorative light fixtures acting as lanterns, and playful textiles on the custom designed upholstered furnishings.
A secluded Japanese garden pavilion tucked away from the bustling surroundings; its entrance concealed by a veil of lush bamboo foliage. As you approach, the soft glow of modern Japanese lanterns guides your way through the tranquil sanctuary. Much like the innovative BondST menu, the pavilion itself is a blend of traditional Japanese architecture and contemporary design, with clean lines and minimalistic yet elegant features. Surrounded by lush bamboo, white oak wood planks and Japanese rice paper operable screens, the atmosphere is serene and romantic - a hidden oasis.
