Inspired by the sand and Mother Earth, this ephemeral pavilion was designed for Cesantoni, a Mexican ceramic tile brand, to be displayed during the Obra Blanca exhibition at Expo Santa Fe in Mexico City. The space welcomes visitors with a sensory experience that explores nature through the senses to learn about the latest trends in ceramic materials.
From the entrance, a porcelain tunnel framed with a LED strip which ends in a mirror wall, welcomes the visitor and creates an infinite optical effect. Once inside, the natural vegetation roof, created by Arquitectura Floral, serves as the compositional axis of the project, providing perspective and depth to the space and framing the tour through the corridor it generates.

Nine storefronts were placed, each with a different atmosphere - from residential to commercial, which allows visitors to see the application of the brand's materials in spaces such as a lobby, a kitchen, a terrace or a bar. The shop windows coexist in a social space designed to have B2B meetings and grow closer to the brand. This space was inspired by an art gallery, in which the new releases were framed and exhibited as if they were works of art. At the same time, a large bookcase with a bar serves catering and drinks to visitors while they enjoy an original and cozy stand, surrounded by vegetation and gardens that provide a natural and fresh environment.

The exit of the pavilion is through a tunnel of ceramics, mirrors and strips of light that create an optical game which surprises and invites guests to capture the moment after touring this original ephemeral space.
The project consists of 406 m2; it was built in three days, and disassembled in one day, which shows great architectural and interior design achievement: generating a space of these characteristics that not only expresses the brand’s values and emphatically shows its products, but also gives guests the possibility to experience a purely architectural and interior tour and not just a display.
