Dit kleine appartement, gevestigd in een voormalige industriële ruimte, belichaamt perfect de kenmerken van een stedelijke loft. De grootste uitdaging was het beheer van de beperkte ruimte en de indeling van de openingen. Het hoofdthema van de renovatie van dit kleine appartement is herontdekking.Tijdens de sloopwerkzaamheden kwamen namelijk eerder verborgen elementen aan het licht, zoals het gewelfde bakstenen plafond en de bogen die kenmerkend zijn voor de woonkamer. This house for a young couple required a renovation project based on light and materials. The original plan with living area, night area and attic was maintained but the previous unvarying appearance has been replaced by a journey along textures and colors. The bent metal sheet staircase is a perfect theatre wing into the living room, allowing zenith light to flood in. The imaginary line between living room and kitchen ensures natural light all day long. Sharing a house to live in is no longer only for students; it is a way of comprehending mobility, flexibility, efficiency, and ecology. After the pandemic, it means sharing moments, shared sources, and places even more. This brightly colored home mightily needed to portray the atmosphere of a place designed for co-living. In order to offer a privileged view of the surrounding city, the renovation of this apartment in the historic center of Monza started with the inversion of the existing living and sleeping areas.
