The Sibyl Centre

The Women’s College, within The University of Sydney, has opened its new Sibyl Centre. The project, designed by one of Australia’s most awarded architecture firms, m3architecture, hosts a flexible space for whole-of-cohort gatherings, as well as research and study areas. A strong feeling of connection to community and place dances through the Sibyl Centre’s design. The Diana Center at Barnard College

Founded in 1889 as a women’s college affiliated with Columbia University, Barnard College is an intimate campus compressed within the dense urban environment of Manhattan. Comprised of an eclectic group of predominantly brick buildings, the campus is focused around Lehman Lawn at its core. Located on Broadway, the Diana Center unites landscape and architecture, interior and exterior spaces, presenting a window onto the College and the city. The 98,000-square-foot multiuse building establishes an innovative nexus for artistic, social, and intellectual life at the College, bringing together spaces for art, architecture, theater, and art history, as well as faculty offices, a dining room, and a café.
