By using the Eco-Suede in interior projects we not only reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions into the atmosphere by 80% compared to the traditional polyester production process, but we also get an elegant and sustainable surface material with the most advanced EPD® Process Certification and to the Oeko-Tex® Standard.
Its production process is similar to that used for paper recycling, in which no harmful chemicals are used (1 metre of suede = the equivalent of the amount of polyester in 20 plastic bottles).
