Since centuries natural stone, as an exceptionally sustainable construction material, has been used in architecture for the design of facades.
Through individual, robot-milled 3D shapes buildings obtain unique design elements with individual 3D geometries. Likewise, a complete building can be realized as a designed 3D geometry. Furthermore the 3D shapes can obtain industrial manufactured surfaces. So individual patterns can easily be displayed through the façade by itself or through the surfaces of the single stones.
This opens new individual design features with special three-dimensional shapes.
