Timeless architecture and outstanding furniture design: Le Corbusier was one of the most famous architects of the 20th century. His work continues to have a significant influence on architecture and design today. Just as important as the floor plan and form for Le Corbusier was the colour scheme of his buildings and designs. He created his unique colour system in two stages – with 43 subtle shades in 1931 and 20 bold and dynamic tones in 1959.
The special feature: Each of these colours can be combined with any other in the system. Thanks to this remarkable characteristic and the unique depth of colour, this colour palette is still inspiring designers today.
