B.lux, the manufacturer of contemporary designer lamps, welcomes a new contributor to its team of designers, as renowned German designer Sebastian Herkner joins the B.lux creative staff with a collection of decorative indoor lamps called Brim.
The Brim collection consists of two floor lamps, a table lamp and a wall lamp, whose formal characteristics turn it into an ornamental piece when it’s turned off. Every version of the Brim gives off an indirect light that is cast onto a concave, circular reflector. Its greatest appeal lies in the manual way in which the light feel is controlled, by moving the reflector closer to or away from the rod that hides the LED light source.
The structure of the lamps in the Brim lamp collection is made of metal, while the diffuser is made of high-quality, handcrafted ceramic. Every version is perfectly suited to being installed at home or in public spaces.
Brim is part of the new collection of decorative lamps that B.lux presented at the Light + Building 2018 trade fair in Frankfurt. B.lux manufactures contemporary designer lamps and has been active in the Basque Country since 1980.
