The venetian blind is an external sun protection with horizontally suspended slats. They are essential to the overall energy performance of buildings but also to the general comfort and well-being of people living and working in these buildings.
In the modern cubic and reduced design, the comfort- and design slat (CDL) will be perfectly integrated into the overall appearance of the building thanks to their striking and unique flat and straightforward design.
Furthermore a special optical feature are the necessary but hidden slat punching, so there are no visible holes in the slats. In addition the light gap between slat and guide rail is closed because of the notable construction. In consequence the interior of the room has a smoother and more pleasant appearance due to the uniform shadow- throw, without the usually disturbing light spots. Ultimately the comfort- and design slat can also be used as a almost perfect blackout.
In order to mount the venetian blinds onto the window, the guide rails are usually drilled from the front. The mounting hole is concealed by the second part of the guide rail and no interfering cover caps are necessary.
