Product description

Awaiting the presentation of his new pieces in Milan next month at Ceccotti Collezioni and Fasem, Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance has been awarded with the Red Dot Design Award, in the Product Design 2011 category, for the Corvo chair produced by Bernhard Design. Created in 1955, today the Red Dot Design Award is the most internationally renowned design prize. This year, about 4,500 products submitted by 60 countries were competing in the only category Product Design. With its beautiful duality Corvo is a technical achievement, the external structure of which is highlighted by straight and fine edges which join the feet to the back, bestowing it with both dynamism and perfect stability. In contrast, the inner surface of the armchair, the seat is all enveloping: a reassuring fluidity which suggests comfort perfectly. The Corvo will be exhibited from 4th July 2011 for one month at the Red Dot Design Museum in Essen (Germany).
