etalbond® is an advanced product that offers several features for creative architectural design. Its attractive and flexible design allows for the construction of curved and flat surfaces in vivid colors, making it an ideal cladding solution for both interior and exterior surfaces in new constructions as well as renovations. The material is light, rigid, durable, and has insulating properties resulting in energy-efficient buildings. Furthermore, it is easy to install and can be shaped into a variety of forms.

Material

etalbond® is a high-quality sandwich-type composite panel. It consists of a non-toxic polyethylene core firmly bonded between fine aluminum facing and backing sheets. The panels come in different core thicknesses of 2, 3, and 5mm, with aluminum sheets of 0.5. The standard sheet widths are 1000, 1250, and 1500mm, and the lengths range from 2000 up to 7000mm. The total thickness of etalbond® is 3, 4, and 6mm.

The bonding of the aluminum sheets with the core is accomplished by compressing the three parts (two aluminum sheets and adhesive along with the polyethylene) within the rolls, resulting in strong and exceptionally rigid flat sheets of composite panels.

Uses and benefits

etalbond® is ideal for use in severe environmental conditions such as polluted urban and industrial areas, as the panels are practically maintenance-free and easy to clean. The innovative building designs of today make etalbond® the ideal visionary inspiration for architects. It is important to preserve the beauty of the natural environment, and any construction in an open space requires special consideration. Highway toll posts, petrol stations, industrial buildings, and tunnels all need to blend with the natural environment, and etalbond® provides ideal solutions for these applications.
