BBPR, a group of architects founded in 1932 by Gian Luigi Banfi, Lodovico Barbiato di Belgiojoso, Enrico Peressuti, Ernesto Nathan Rogers. The first project intervention is of 1946, after the parenthesis of the war, the planning of reconstructions of Milan, the plan A.R. at the Triennale of Milan, where it is noted to trace the birth of the Italian design. Also in the 50’ years the first furniture pieces for offices and common areas born, as for example the sofa Elettra, designed for arflex. In 1958 they designed for arflex the armchair Giulietta : depth study of the line and absolute comfort, without forgetting the elegance. With this model they won the cover of the magazine Domus (no. 372 – November 1960). One of the major project designed by BBPR is the Velasca Tower, in Milan.
