Grafting Light Designed by Nick Ceulemans for MOOZEUM

‘Graft your own interior design concept’ With ‘Grafting Light’ designer/architect Nick Ceulemans refers to the tubular furniture of the Interbellum period, but it’s also a nod to traditional fruit growing processes, where age-old varieties can be passed on from generation to generation through grafting. Just as several varieties can be grafted with each other, you can create functional and surprising combinations with Grafting Light. All powder coated basic elements have a screw thread connection which enables a dynamic modular system. A metal or concrete base can be attached to the various parts and specific accessories can be added to turn this ‘grafting system’ into a coat stand, floor lamp, umbrella stand, desk lamp, side table or light above a table. Grafting Light is therefore much more than just a lamp… it is a functional, modular system with strong visual impact in any context. In addition, Grafting Light is from concept to construction, a 100% local and sustainably produced product. Extra attention was paid to finding robust, recyclable, local raw material such as concrete, glass, steel and wood. The LED light sources also last longer and use less energy. www.moozeum.com
