The Design: A classic pendant lamp, providing directed task lighting over the dining room table, in the kitchen over the island, above sinks, bars or tables. The lampshade is a simple, elongated hemisphere, embraced by two leather straps, hand-stitched and stretching up to the ceiling, where the canopy, equally embraced by leather straps, completes the elegant shape of the lamp.

The Name LOCUS – a meeting point. The place where things happen. Because you want them to. Function, form and origin converge in the Latin word and the mathematical formula that describes when a curve is exactly as it should be.

The Inspiration Inspired by fabulous Danish design and with great affection for Danish design tradition, MARINOV wanted to create something for the Danes. LOCUS – a handmade tribute to Danish design. A meeting point for Scandinavian design, lighting tradition, innovative technology, great functionality and high quality handcrafts.
