Product description

The central theme in the Montaigne collection is transformation. In Montaigne, Coutas takes two raw materials, brass and marble, and shapes them into a contemporary object of desire.

The handles of Montaigne are crafted from Coutas’s signature marble: The Grand Antique d’Aubert; a precious marble from the South of France that was used by the Romans and which has since been used in the construction of iconic pieces of architecture including the Palace of Versailles and the new MoMA building in New York. Coutas’ and THG Paris’s French identity is at the core of the collection which features a French material enhanced by French artisans.
