Advantages
MOSSwall® requires no maintenance and easily blends nature and design. Handcrafted in Italy and shipped worldwide, it is a leading material application globally. Additionally, MOSSwall® serves an important function as it is acoustically absorbent, effectively controlling reverberation and echo in spaces.
Created from natural lichen for indoor use, MOSSwall® undergoes anti-static treatment to prevent dust accumulation. It thrives in a relative humidity of 40 to 50% and should not be exposed to direct sunlight. Each floret is carefully handled during production, and the unwanted basal section is recycled for future use.

Beyond traditional gardens
Founded in 2008 by Stefano Laprocina, a nature-loving agronomist, Verde Profilo® fosters a unique green philosophy. Stefano's passion for plants led it to bridge the gap between nature and modern life. Here, design and nature are seen as complementary forces. Verde Profilo® goes beyond traditional gardens. It crafts innovative spaces that integrate design and functionality, considering the building, its occupants, and their needs.

Four core principles guide its work: design, creativity, passion, and innovation. These principles are reflected in its diverse projects, from private gardens and public spaces to urban landscapes and captivating installations for businesses like spas and showrooms. Nature is at the heart of everything it does. Verde Profilo® uses its elegance and vitality to create spaces that engage and inspire, allowing people to truly connect with the natural world as part of their everyday lives.

Reference projects

Korian
In June 2020, Progetto Design & Build undertook the challenging project of redesigning the headquarters of Korian, a prominent European company specializing in assistance and care services. The new Korian headquarters, located in a modern building in Milan, spans over 2000 square meters across 3 high floors. Notably, the top floor features a spacious terrace adorned with lush greenery, including urban gardens sourced from Verde Profilo®. This design approach aligns with Korian's corporate mission, which has been centered on health and care services for over 25 years, while also addressing the unique challenges posed by the historical moment.

The office space was conceptualized to emulate the most desirable characteristics of a domestic environment, providing large and welcoming spaces reminiscent of home environments where individuals had become accustomed to working during the previous months. The design team deliberately selected MOSSwall® Fusion natural materials and soft shapes, complemented by neutral colors to evoke a sense of calm and serenity. Furthermore, the integration of greenery was a fundamental element of the design well-integrated into various aspects of the layout, including walls, planters, acoustic elements, and ceiling panels.

Diamond Tree

Designed and made by 3ndy Studio, Vigonovo (Venice), Diamond Tree was born from an architectural concept employing innovative materials, especially Lapitec®. The choice of materials used inside the house maintained the idea of creating an alternation and a rhythm between the environments. The interior features an inner wall adorned with stabilized natural moss (MOSSwall®), and a tree planted within the patio. These are just a few examples of the thoughtful approach taken to incorporate nature into the architecture while also being environmentally conscious.

The building exclusively utilizes renewable energy sources, such as heat pumps, photovoltaic solar panels, and a geothermal system. Additionally, careful window placement allows for the passive accumulation of solar energy during colder seasons, ensuring that the building's energy needs are fully met.
