The 2011 National Home Improvement Show at Earl's Court is almost upon us. Running from the 30th September through until 2nd October, it's the UK's leading event for home improvers and UK Oak Doors will be showcasing an exclusive range of new products alongside some of the classic designs and firm favourites.
New products added to the range include a number of external stable doors, an external French door, a traditional style 1930's oak door and a 'shaker style' 5 panel oak door. All hand crafted from 100 percent solid, kiln dried oak; all of these exclusive new designs will be on display at Stand 971 in the National Home Improvement Show.
In addition to the new styles there will be many of the old favourites on show at Earls Court including the antique barn door, the contemporary Mexicano, 4 Panel Victorian door, Oxbow external door, Suffolk style frame and ledge and the classic, ever popular ledge and brace door.
Traditional construction methods are used in all of the doors with mortise and tenon joints or tongue and groove construction. These oak doors are made from PEFC certified sustainable wood - all 100% solid oak.
If you're looking for any help or advice then the team will be on hand to answer any questions you may have. Take away a free oak sample and a hardwax oil sample to try at home (subject to availability).
You can also get a sneak peak at some brand new designs that haven't even been launched on the UK Oak Doors website yet, such as the barn door with hidden screws - a nice twist on the original ledged door.
Whether it's a new home or you've decided to improve rather than move, adding solid oak doors to your interior is a great way of adding value to your home.
