For the Onda handle, the studies I made were purely ergonomic. I analysed the movements of the hand, the pressure it exerts and its physicality. It is no wonder that the result is a balance between classic and modern, because the human hand has not evolved – it has always been the same as it is now. Many modern tools are similar, if not exact replicas of ones used thousands of years ago. The final effect is a pleasant sensation of ease, adhesion and accompaniment, which is what suggested the name Onda, Italian for “wave”.
