Re-Imagine is a project born out of need and resourcefulness. It builds on the designer's interests in expediency and re-using the existing, and speaks of her ability to see the potential in the overlooked and unloved.
The Rescued Chairs are a series of brightly coloured re-upholstered chairs that combine the idea of resourcefulness and reinvention.
This is not just a sustainable approach to design and making, but a social one too. Through working together and pooling resources we can re-imagine the second-hand and redesign our everyday surroundings.
The upholstery for the top two pieces are done in collaboration with David David.
