In 2014 Rettangolo by Gessi, after exactly 10 years since the first launch of the famous Series of faucets and accessories, evolves into a total look collection, with complementing lines of basins, ceramics, tubs that feature the same streamlined design so typical of Rettangolo.

Upon its first launch, Rettangolo was indeed a revolution in bathroom design as it proposed for the first time minimalist, square shapes and sharp edges for brassware, and to this day it's still the best known and most imitated collection of Gessi.

The distinguishing characteristic of the design by Gessi, is its creative, original and ironic exploration of iconic symbols and of simple but evocative shapes, such as indeed the rectangle. This latter before Gessi was an unprecedented shape to feature in brassware, which no one had thought of. The essential and pure beauty of the sharp lines of the rectangle awarded this Collection the status of a world acknowledged design icon.

With the recent extension of the range, Gessi intends to respond to the aspiration to elevate the style in bathroom design with a coordination of all its elements and to benefit the products' users with daily experiences of pleasure, exclusivity and well-being through their design and technology.

Gessi in fact supports an idea of the home as a place where everyone's lifestyle and vitality is fully expressed, and Rettangolo Collection, introduces new living concepts through the widest imaginable range of products, proposed in such variety of models, variations and installation solutions to allow for an unlimited freedom in bathroom designing. These include unprecedented and unpredictable products, such as floor standing or ceiling mounted faucets, all possessing those special, aesthetical and technological features as to make the bathroom a "wellness room".
