More information about Revicomfort: DO IT YOURSELF: QUICK, CLEAN, EASY AND REUSABLE

REVICOMFORT is a full-body porcelain floor tile for indoor, public or residential areas which contributes to the development of a more sustainable construction. It corresponds to the needs of the new consumer who seeks easy, rapid and functional solutions endowed with design. It allows cost-cutting by means of its easy, rapid application: it does not require glues nor cements nor skilled labour and it can be used immediately after application. REVICOMFORT is directly settled on flat, levelled floors or on a structure with pedestals, creating a camera which conceals the passage of technical systems and pipes. The floor tile is encapsulated in a polymer on the back and on the side edges which neutralizes flooring rigidity, creating a perception of comfort and soundproofing. The polymer is chemically treated with an additive that prevents the growth of fungi, moulds and odours. More Information about A’Design Award: This competition is organized annually and sponsored by the Bureau of European Design Associations (BEDA), other design institutions and various international media partners.

The winner projects demonstrate excellence in design, innovation, technology and creativity and will form part of an exhibition at MOOD - Museum of Outstanding Design – in the city of Como, near Milan in Italy, and they will also be presented in a book published by the organisation.

During the course of the last 5 years, the A’ Design Award has already attained 30,000 participants from 280 countries. Worthy of special mention are several of the prize-winning companies with recognised brands on the global market: Google, Nestlé, Whirlpool, Bridgestone, Pirelli, Speedo, Nespresso, Coca-Cola, Electrolux and Disney.

A’ Design Award & Competition aims to create awareness for good design practices and principles and promoting the contact with the main participants in the sector. It is regarded as one of the most wide-ranging and prestigious competitions owing to the diversity of contents and the thoroughness in the jury selection process comprising university teachers, professionals, businessmen and media personalities with recognised know-how in the fields of design, architecture and the arts.
