Rhino Shield is a polymeric thin film (0.3mm) which offer ultra transparency and extraordinary impact absorption. This material is designed based on patented multilayer technology. it absorbs more than 5 times the impact energy in comparison to bare chemical strengthen glass (such as gorilla glass) thanks to its curial impact dispersion and impact dampening layer. Rhino shield has been used as an overlay on smartphone screen in order to prevent shattering of the glass cover lens. it is also used for protecting the OSR unit of space satellite.
Addition to impact absorption and anti-shatter properties, this material also feature scratch resistance (up to 3H) and olephobic coating.
