Dautphetal. Roth is offering a new Quick-Energy Tacker System for floor heating and cooling systems. Roth is the first manufacturer to offer a slimline construction for the tried-and-tested Tacker laying technology in conjunction with the new Roth QE static mat. Installation with a screed (standard grade) and minimal pipe coverage of 13 millimetres ensure a very fast response speed and ideal user comfort.
The system is suitable for new-build and modernisation projects. It is based on the Tacker laying technology with Roth System Pipes, original Tacker clips, system composite panels, composite rolls and folding panels. Laying the self-adhesive Roth QE static mat on the screed ensures the load-bearing capacity necessary for the thin-layered load distribution layer. The tested installation method for the system is based on a significantly reduced installation height but the same load-bearing capacity as a standardised installation in accordance with DIN 18560. The Roth QE adhesive surface, which is to be laid onto the screed surface and is coordinated with the QE static mat, ensures optimum adhesion of the QE static mat.
Fewer steps – no drying time required The innovative QE static mat with minimal installation height and maximum isolation capacity is multifunctional and is suitable for many areas of application. Its self-adhesive underside allows it to be laid more quickly than conventional isolating mats that are embedded into the tile adhesive. Compared with standard solutions like these, the system reduces construction times and offers material and weight savings. This offers scope for new solutions, whatever the structure type or building project involved. Due to the low volume of screed, less building moisture is released, so the covering can be applied sooner than with standard-thickness screed. The innovative system is suitable for all floor coverings. Tiles can be stuck directly onto the QE static mat with a tile adhesive suitable for underfloor heating. For soft floor coverings, the fibre-reinforced QE smoothing agent coordinated to the system is applied with a coating thickness of 6 millimetres. The even structure upon installation guarantees optimum heat distribution. The inventor of the original Tacker systems is expanding its extensive range of floor heating and cooling systems with this system solution. The manufacturer is offering solutions for new-build and modernisation projects involving dry and wet construction.
