Door communication: The cordless alternative
Siedle makes video mobile
For the first time Siedle is bringing the video image from the door camera onto a mobile device: Siedle Scope is a portable video call station for door communication – and at the same time a cordless telephone.
Thanks to Scope, residents can see who is standing in front of the door from wherever they happen to be in the building, or even from the patio or the garden. They can answer a phone call in just the same way – using the same device, because Siedle Scope is also a fully functional cordless landline telephone with ECO mode to reduce the energy requirement and transmitter power. On top of this, it is a hands-free station with excellent speech quality and can also be used as a desktop unit in its charging cradle. Controls and menu navigation are designed for intuitive use by people of all ages. This also includes a certain minimum size for device, screen and buttons, with enough space between the controls to avoid operating errors.
Solid metal panelling envelops the main body and charging station. This adds a distinct weight which lends the devices a special value appeal and also plays a part in defining the appearance. Scope is available in six different versions: in aluminium either naturally anodized or with a high gloss paint finish and in stainless steel with either a brushed, gold-plated or chromium-plated surface.
