Explore TOKO, designed by Carl Gustav Magnusson. Toko is a collection of self-supporting structures designed to create unique acoustical spatial environments within open spaces. With a seemingly endless variety of configurations, Toko allows you to configure distinct acoustical environments for a variety of uses based on the needs and activities of the modern workplace. Whether it’s a place to collaborate or concentrate - to meet or to eat, Toko allows for the creation of beautiful and functional workspaces.
Toko’s freestanding design enables relocation or reconfiguration as well as independence from traditional building architecture, without incurring the costs associated with conventional drywall construction. It's customizable, perfect for meeting the needs of ever evolving workplaces.
Available in a range of different combinations of materials: wood veneer, engineered wood, and wool felt panels, Toko’s wall structure provides excellent visual and acoustic separation. Flexible Wood: wood and engineered wood are made flexible with a patented incision process developed by Switzerland-based Dukta, in partnership with Spinneybeck. Complex incisions allow textile-like properties plus create transparency, allowing light in and sound absorption unexpected from most wood products. Acoustic panels stretched overhead provide additional sound absorption while still allowing light in making Toko an ideal solution for video conferencing hubs.
Toko is offered with integrated power and can accommodate meeting tables and seating areas alike. Built in credenza storage with optional refrigeration is available, as well as wall mounts for monitors, whiteboards or other shelving. With no electricity constraints and no floor-to-ceiling partitions, Toko is purposeful modular architecture that offers companies an affordable, sustainable and flexible alternative to fixed construction and traditional office design. Toko is designed to create unique, semi-secluded areas within open spaces.
