Solution benefits: The VELUX sloping extension window element GIU is an additional fixed element that can be installed directly below a centre pivot or top-hung roof window to add more daylight and extend the view to the outdoors.

Exterior design: The window element follows the slope of the roof and blends seamlessly with the roof window. 

Interior design: A seamless look with a slim connection between the roof window and the fixed GIL element. 

Materials: The frame and sash are made of moisture-resistant high-quality moulded polyurethane around a core of thermally modified timber with a white lacquer finish. Ideal for humid rooms like bathrooms and kitchens.
