The re-visited and updated tradition, not only in the forms but also in the materials. This is the Virna's philosophy, the new product of Alma Design for Salone del Mobile 2016: a product which evokes the archetypical lines of the Fifties, with a new and strong functionality. Simple, geometric and at the same time highly classy. Virna suggests a sophisticated contrast between the ingot of the structure and the polypropylene of the seat and the back, produced with injection molding technology. The essence of the wood choice, as well as the color of the seat and back determine an innovative and versatile design: the image could be that of a timeless seat or a lively object, perfect for furnishing trendy environments. There is also a version of the Virna with upholstered seat and back, both of which are customizable with Alma Design fabrics and leathers. The balanced composition and high ergonomics are perfectly coordinated to the concept of practicality: in fact, Virna is stackable and is an ideal solution for contract or residential settings.
