The WABI series by Gattoni Rubinetterie will be protagonist at International Bathroom Exhibition 2010. It represents the leading line of the company’s wide collection, TECHNO, putting on the forefront the high degree of technological innovation by including the best design series and projects.

Wabi, result of a long period of study and analysis, is the last product born from the innovative activity of the design department which, during the production stage, has adopted the lines of the designer Arch. Mara Gattoni. “The fluid gesture of the hand on the paper reproduces the natural dynamic of water streaming from a spring” said Arch. Mara Gattoni “The new project performs a simple and elegant graphic mark, which is synonymous of a not showed off class, instead beauty of the simple things”. “Less is more “ said L. Mies Van der Rohe, bringing this sentence to a key definition of minimalist design. Eastern languages, translate this “belief” with WABI SABI experience, from which the name of the series has been drawn. The ten-yearly collaboration with a Japanese designer brought me to internalize the eastern philosophy and matching it with the European planning concreteness”.

WABI, the result of in-.depth studies and analyses, is the youngest product conceived by the design department and following during the project stage designer Arch. Mara Gattoni’s lines. Its striking shape satisfies the consumer’s needs in full compliance with top quality standards, in line with Gattoni’s production tradition where shapes and functionality are combined in a single solution.

WABI is characterized by the perfect balance between the smooth curves of the body and lever which blend perfectly in with the clean and flat lines of the squared spout with its cascade flow.

An exclusive item of refined lines and unique elegance, not conceived simply as a synonym of aesthetical beauty, but designed in the name of efficiency and technical perfection: WABI stands out for the high quality of the raw materials used and the top level of technical professionalism applied to create each single item.

The complete range includes 35 items on catalogue. In addition to the washbasin, bidet, tub, exposed and built-in shower mixers, the same aesthetical line is complemented by the shower heads, shower columns and a qualified selection of coordinated accessories. Particular attention must be given to the washbasin built-in mixers: they are equipped with a special box to be mounted on the wall for an easier inspection of the tap inner components, preventing unpleasant damages to the wall.

The series features a chromed finishing which confers an impeccable look and protects the product from corrosive agents such as limestone o from everyday wear.

The pairing of design and technique makes each WABI product a competitive and unique tap, perfectly combined to the aesthetical lines of modern homes
