Our task in this project was to transform a dark and outdated living and dining area with an older wood burning fireplace and create a modern, inviting, and practical space for a young family of 3 in Greater Seattle Area. The homeowners wanted a bright, modern, welcoming nd practical open space for their family to hang out.
To achieve the look, we chose a new brighter color palette, replaced flooring, and reimagined the old 80’s rubble wood burning fireplace, adding functional custom cabinetry and a unique wood storage. We redesigned the frame around the fireplace to accomodate a recessed TV and added storage with space for firewood.
We have replaced light fixtures, added new accessories & textiles to bring in more texture and soften the look, added new life to homeowners’ keepsakes, and created a bespoke art piece in the adjacent dining room painted by our own team member. Design and layout planning, finishes and fixtures selection, project implementation assistance.
