On February 2012 Arper opened a new display space right in the heart of Stockholm, a cornerstone place for the whole market of Northern Europe.
The Stockholm showroom constitutes the progressive fulfilment of a corporate strategy focused on being present at international level – after the openings in New York, Milan, Cologne, and in a short time, London - to provide direct sales support, as well as more efficient services, assistance and advice to architects and planners.
The Swedish capital boasts the highest rate of design training and was chosen to strengthen the constant contact with the numerous architecture and interior design firms located in the territory, with which Arper has established great relationships and shared visions over time, and for which the Italian company is the ideal supplier thanks to its project language, quality of production and efficiency.
The mono-brand showroom, based in the Östermalm district, is developed according to a concept by Lievore Altherr Molina, the Barcelona-based firm with which Arper has a long and fruitful collaboration – from the creation of memorable collections, including Catifa and Leaf, to the recent remake of the corporate identity. The interior design project has focused on the creation of a luminous space, the perfect stage for the displayed products, easily showing and making the whole collection accessible, with its manifold variations and customizations. The predominantly white background hosts not only the chromatic palette of leather and fabrics, but also the vivid pictures shot by Dutch photographer Maurice Scheltens, author and conceptual interpreter of the new visual identity of Arper.
The Stockholm showroom is open Monday to Friday, from 10 am to 5 pm.
