House in Los Remedios

Fran Silvestre Architects as Architects

The house is located in a characteristic building of the district of Los Remedios, in Seville.

 

The project seeks to respond to the program with as fewpartitions as possible to accentuate the sensation of amplitude.

 

A linear piece organizes the space and activates the areas through which youget inside, hiding the unnecessaryfor the enjoyment of life.

 

This piece of furniture, in its linear path, becomes an element to cover the structure and is transformed into closets, shoe racks, or access doors to the different rooms.

 

With this action, we eliminate corridors and we incrementliving spaces.

 

A large sliding door allows the kitchen to be in continuity with the living room or to isolate itselfin the moments of greatest culinary activity.

 

All the facilities are distributed in a way that you can take advantage of the generous height of these apartments in the district of Los Remedios in the daytime living areas and maximize their verticality.

 

The warm tone of the flooring, the temperature of the artificial lighting, the lacquered wood paneling and the continuity of the rooms characterize the space.
