Casa FL is a newly built courtyard house located in the historic town of Treviso.
The main request of the client was to recreate an oasis inside the city, where they could regenerate. Hence the idea of an ancient form, which incorporates the surrounding nature, thanks to its geometry.
The house is composed by a unique volume/body with essential forms and clean lines. The cladding is in white plaster, window and door frames and accessories matching the facade, in order to emphasize the contemporary nature of the structure.
The greenery play a crucial role in the project, which is built around them, framing the views through the use of the architectural element of the courtyard, onto which the living and sleeping areas overlook.
The use of large sliding windows, from the minimal Xtravision collection in aluminum, lets the natural light in and enhance the connection with the outdoor.
The essential lines of the structure are also reflected in the layout of the interior spaces and furnishings.
