The brief is to design a super tall observatory tower to house tourism, leisure and high-tech amusement functions.
Our observation of a traditional observatory tower is that usually heavy on the bottom and slender to the top. Contrarily, we think the most valuable area is on the upper part of the tall structure, therefore the design of the tower has an inverted pyramidal diagram, with most of the function found on the top.
This tower is about bringing every one of us to the very and the real top of it. Once we are up there, we grow a forest by designing a botanical habitat for the spaces. As if it is a Laputa floating upon the city.
