The Kids Discovery Museum (KiDiMu) is a two-story steel structure building. The building design is composed of three basic rectangle forms, each having a different material character. These forms intersect in a manner meant to create a sense of playfulness and similarity to a child’s block toy. The prominent entry is an open glassy area that serves as the museum’s lobby and retail space. Two floors of exhibits fill the clear-span large volumes, creating plenty of opportunity for fun and exploration.
